eLearning
In the 10 years or so that we have been using the term eLearning, it has evolved. From its conception as a radical idea that put technology at the centre of the learning process, it has become the mainstream of educational policy and the core of most effective business plans. And now it is moving on to the web, where this evolution takes a new direction.
At the heart of British Publishers’ eLearning roundtable events is the acknowledgment that one of the greatest challenges we have when discussing eLearning is our understanding of the term and how that understanding will be different depending on our viewpoints and experiences.
What is crucial, therefore, is that we continue the debate about what constitutes successful eLearning and how best to incorporate new technologies into existing education and training programmes.
By bringing together the public and private sectors for constructive dialogue, British Publishers is playing a crucial role in making sure eLearning continues to develop and enhance education at every level.
